How to Create a Bell Graph on MegaStat

    • 1). Click "Start" and then click "All Programs." Point the mouse cursor to "Microsoft Office" and then click "Microsoft Excel."

    • 2). Click "File" from within the Microsoft Excel user interface and then click "Open."

    • 3). Open the file from which you would like to extract statistical data by using the "Open" dialog box.

    • 4). Click the "MegaStat" tab located in the upper-right side of the Excel user interface.

    • 5). Point the mouse cursor to "Time Series/Forecasting" and then click "Trendline Curve Fit."

    • 6). Click on one of the cells from within the column of data that you wish to analyze.

    • 7). Click on "Input Label" to select the entire column.

    • 8). Click the drop-down box beside the "Type of trendline" entry and select "Linear," "Exponential" or "Polynomial."

    • 9). Click the small white box beside the "Output Residuals" box and then click "OK."
