- 1). Download and install Windows Mobile Device Center on your computer (see Resources). Follow the installation wizard's directions to properly install the program on the computer.
- 2). Restart your computer and open Windows Mobile Device Center. Click "Start," then "All Programs" and "Windows Mobile Device Center."
- 3). Connect the LG Vu to the computer using a USB cable. Wait for Windows Mobile Device Center to recognize the phone.
- 4). Click "Set Up Your Device" in the Windows Mobile Device Center home screen.
- 5). Check the box next to "Contacts," then click "Next." If you want to sync other items with the LG Vu, check those items before advancing to the next screen.
- 6). Enter a name for the LG Vu in the "Device Name" field, then click "Next." You can choose to leave the default name if you desire. Windows Mobile Device Center should automatically begin the syncing process.
- 7). Disconnect the LG Vu from your computer when syncing is complete.
