    • 2). Make sure the battery stays level on the mounting holder. Use the battery brackets to secure the battery. Make sure no movement to the battery can occur. This will correct most problems and prevent an early death of your battery.

    • 3). Ensure that the positive and negative posts are in the right place according to installation instructions. This could be as simple as turning the battery around.

    • 4). Check the cables and terminals to ensure they are a snug fit. Pull them off and reattach just as you would do when mounting.
