- 1). Locate the "Hold" switch on the top of the iPod. Flip the switch back and forth three to four times, eventually leaving it off hold.
- 2). Hold the center "Enter" key while holding the "Menu" key directly above the "Enter" key for three or four seconds.
- 3). Allow the resetting process to continue. The Apple logo will appear and disappear, revealing the standard operating menu. The unit should now be ready for normal operation. Sync the unit with iTunes to confirm and reload.
