Work From Home - Become an eBay Seller For Others
When I was out of work for a while, I actually did this.
I would go out on a Saturday and hit all the garage sale looking for nice items that were priced a little too high for our area.
I would hand out my business card and tell them that I would gladly sell the item on eBay for them if they couldn't sell it at their garage sale.
Usually on that following Monday my phone would be ringing from people who I had met over the weekend.
After laying out how it would work, I would arrange a time to pick the item up.
I would usually charge a 10% commission fee (after listing and shipping fees were deducted) and even came up with my own contract that the customer would sign.
I was successful in selling these people's items about 95% of the time for the price they wanted.
eBay offered a whole new supply of customers that a local garage sale couldn't.
Now, I did get turned down at times because the seller knew about eBay and did the listing themselves.
But, to my surprise, there were still a lot of people who didn't know how to sell on eBay or, just didn't want to bother with it.
So, head out this weekend and start looking for customers.
After a few months, word of mouth should start to spread and your company should start to take off.
I know do this on a part time basis and usually clear around $250 per week.
Not too bad for only a few hours on a Saturday afternoon.
