For the best in dining try Seasons 52 on Sandlake Road and do not forget the desserts served in shot glasses. Also along this mecca of restaurants on Sand Lake Road is Christini’s Ristorante Italiano (great), which serves Italian, Ruth’s Chris Steak House which is must if you like steak, Charley’s Steakhouse (Irlo Bronson Highway, 192) a top 10 steakhouse which is great and close. There is also Chatham’s Place which is quiet and cozy and has great food, Amura, has great sushi, and Roy’s, whose cuisine is Hawaiian. Try the Bonefish Grill for seafood, a great restaurant and is moderately priced. If you are just looking for a light meal, you have Panera’s Bread.
At the Pointe just down the street from the Orange County Convention Center are the Capital Grill (great food), Oceanania Seafood Room and Magglano’s Little Italy.Close by dining is the Red Lobster, Crabby Bills, Outback, Carrabba’s Italian Grill (Irlo Bronson Highway, 192, just around the corner), McKenzie’s Steak House and Italy Grill.
For theme dining try the Hard Rock Café, Universal Studios, Jimmy Buffet’s Magaritaville, Emeril’s, Bubba Grump Shrimp or Downtown Disney Rainforest Café, House of Blues, Fulton Crab House and our favorite Wolf Gang Pucks, none of which more than 3 miles away from our Disney area vacation homes.
Disney Dining offers anything from Soup to Nuts. You have Shula’s Steak House at the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort, Flying Fish Café offering Seafood on Disney’s Boardwalk, The ESPN Club, also on the boardwalk serving American cuisine, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (a great restaurant on top of a contemprory hotel. Must make a reservation and try for when the fireworks are going on), Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, a musical revue is an old fashioned dinner show that includes music, comedy and an All-American family style dinner.
