Expensive Skincare - Is It Really Worth the Price?

103 34
I'm about to let you in on a little-known secret about expensive skincare.
Products sold in upscale stores and boutiques, priced at $75 and above, are EXACTLY the same as the more-affordable creams and lotions sold at your local drugstore.
As difficult as this may be to believe, just compare the ingredients on any of these products, and I guarantee the ingredients will be the same.
Given this fact, are high-priced skin care products really worth the price? Well, in my well-researched opinion, I'd have to say, "it depends.
" You see, you're not getting better ingredients with most expensive skincare.
You're getting the same, ineffective cheap (around a nickel-a-jar) synthetic chemicals which cosmetic companies have been using for over 50 years.
Up until recently, consumers were fooled into thinking these products really worked.
This is because the thick film these chemicals lay on top of the skin make it feel softer and temporarily, fill-in lines and wrinkles.
But this has nothing to do with real skin care.
It's just a cheap cosmetic trick.
These companies have been clever about appealing to consumers with beautiful jars and tubes, with special-sound names like, "skin rejuvenation," "recovery concentrate,"  "reverse aging serum," etc.
, with a hefty price tag, making these products seem really special.
But, unfortunately, for these cosmetic companies, consumers are beginning to question the wisdom of rubbing synthetic chemicals into the skin.
When you find out chemicals used in this expensive skincare are also used in antifreeze, varnish and brake fluid, using these creams in beautiful jars seems a lot less appealing.
So where can consumers turn if both, affordable and expensive, products are equally useless? Well, scientific research is telling us the best ingredients to support a healthy, young complexion are those which are moleculary similar to the molecules of human skin.
Bio-active extracts from Nature have been found to possess this important characteristic.
But it isn't just about similar molecules.
Stimulating nutrients, also contained in these natural substances, are able to infiltrate the cells, themselves.
This healing nutrition helps to restore healthy function of damaged cells.
As a result, the production of structural proteins and fatty acids, (i.
e.
, collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid), is restored.
Over time, your depleted stores of these natural substances are replenished and the underlying fabric of your skin begins to recover, strengthen and display visible improvements.
Some people may consider delivery systems (creams) of these special ingredients expensive skincare since they cost a little more.
But, this higher price is due to the high cost of research, harvesting and testing.
However, with high concentrations of extracts contained in these products, a little goes a long way.
A jar or tube can last twice as long as the typical cream, saving you money in the long run.
So, is expensive skincare really worth the price?  It is if it's been formulated with clincially-researched and tested bio-active extracts from Nature.
Now that you know this, I encourage you to use this information to find creams made with healthy, clinically-proven natural extracts which support the health, as well as, appearance of your skin.
