How to Remove Norton Anti Virus Corporate Edition
- 1). Open the Run dialog by clicking "Start," then "Run."
- 2). Type "services.msc" into the Run dialog, then press "Enter."

Stop the "Intel Alert Handler," "Intel Alert Originator," "Intel File Transfer," "Intel PDS," "SAVRoam," "Symantec AntiVirus Definition Watcher," "Symantec Event Manager," "Symantec Network Drivers Service," "Symantec Password Validation," "Symantec SecurePort," "Symantec Settings Manager" and "Symantec AntiVirus" services by right-clicking each one in the Services list, then clicking "Stop."
- 1). Open the Registry Editor by clicking "Start," clicking "Run," typing "regedit.exe" into the Run dialog, then pressing "Enter."
- 2). Navigate to the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\Shellex\ContextMenuHandlers" key in the Registry Editor, right-click "LDVPMenu," then click "Delete."
- 3). Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec," and delete the "Common Client," "SharedDefs," "Symantec AntiVirus," "Symevent" and "SymNetDrv" keys by right-clicking each one, then clicking "Delete."

Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services" and delete the "ccEvtMgr," "ccPwdSvc," "ccSetMgr," "DefWatch," "Intel Alert Handler," "Intel Alert Originator," "Intel File Transfer," "Intel PDS," "NAVENG," "NAVEX15," "SavRoam," "SAVRT," "SAVRTPEL," "SNDSrvc," "Symantec AntiVirus," "SymEvent," "SYMREDRV" and "SYMTDI" keys by right-clicking each one, then clicking "Delete."

Navigate to any other existing "KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ControlSet*\Services" keys and delete the "ccEvtMgr," "ccPwdSvc," "ccSetMgr," "DefWatch," "Intel Alert Handler," "Intel Alert Originator," "Intel File Transfer," "Intel PDS," "NAVENG," "NAVEX15," "SavRoam," "SAVRT," "SAVRTPEL," "SNDSrvc," "Symantec AntiVirus," "SymEvent," "SYMREDRV" and "SYMTDI" keys by right-clicking each one, then clicking "Delete."
- 7). Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application" and delete the "Defwatch," "ccEvtMgr," "ccSetMgr," "Intel Alert Handler," "Intel Alert Originator," "Intel AMS II," "Intel File Transfer Service," "Intel PDS Service," "SavRoam" and "Symantec AntiVirus" keys by right-clicking each one, then clicking "Delete."
- 8). Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\System" and delete the "SAVRT" key by right-clicking it, then clicking "Delete."

Click the "Edit" menu at the top of the Registry Editor window, then click "Find." - 11

Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Symantec" in the Registry Editor window, then right-click the "SharedDefs" key and click "Delete." - 14
Navigate to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall" key in the Registry Editor window and click the plus sign next to it. Click each "<Package Code>" key under the "Uninstall" key until you find one that displays the text "Symantec AntiVirus" in the right pane of the window, then delete this "<PackageCode>" key by right-clicking it and clicking "Delete." - 15
Navigate to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" key and delete the "vptray" and "ccApp" keys by right-clicking each and then clicking "Delete." - 16

- 6). Navigate to the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec" folder in Windows Explorer.
- 7). Delete the "Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition" folder by right-clicking it in the Symantec folder, then clicking "Delete."
