The Future of the Unassuming, Non-Competitive Human

103 29
Are we witnessing the end of the competitive males in our first world nations? Is this the end, are we evolving and being bread away from competitive, hard-charging men? Some believe so, and yet, other thinkers say; "I doubt that it will be bred/evolved away in people for some time.
" But what if world-wide socialism takes hold, and the individual no longer matters, and a beehive of humanity is in our future? What about the cybernetic man with parts other than the natural organic original equipment, will we have modified humans, will we have those warrior or competitive genes removed? What about all the interlinks throughout the brain, can we mask those thoughts, prevent those chemicals; eliminate stick-to-it-ness, and passion, drive and ambition? They say that Hitler tried to melt the back of the brain by use of Fluoride in the water.
It makes better followers and less apt to challenge authority, or question the status quo.
It figures he'd try that? Will the future cause the same, the lack of human spirit and dismissal of human will? It may, what could also happen is those cultures who do not seek challenge, move forward faster as a group, but then faced with adversity of a catastrophic event are wiped out or populations so reduced that the whole thing would start over again.
Black Swan event aside, I would admit, "it might" but would not go so far as saying "it will" otherwise there is the chance of all forward progression stopping, there is no future in that really.
What about well into the future? That is the wild-card, fact is we just do not know for sure.
But it is an interesting intellectual topic indeed.
So, please consider all this.
