How to Use Publisher Letterheads in Word
- 1). Click "Start," then click "Microsoft Publisher 2010" to open Microsoft Publisher.
- 2). Move the cursor over "File" in the navigation toolbar, then click "New."
- 3). Click "Letterhead" on the Available Templates page.
- 4). From the drop-sown menu, select "Installed and Online Templates," "Online Templates" or "Installed Templates."
- 5). Click a letterhead to select a letterhead style.
- 1). Preview the selected letterhead in the right side bar of the screen.
- 2). Select a color scheme using the drop-down menu in the preview screen.
- 3). Select a font scheme using the drop-down menu in the preview screen.
- 4). Select "Create New" to open the "Create New Information Set" window.
- 5). Enter business information in the "Create New Information Set" pop-up. Click the "Add Logo" button if you wish to upload a logo. Double-click the logo to be used. Click "Save."
- 6). Under Options, uncheck the box next to "Include Logo" if you do not want to use a logo on the letterhead. Click "Create."
- 7). Move the cursor over the "File" menu, then click "Save As." Enter the name of the letterhead and click "Save."
- 8). Use the "Page Design" menu in the navigation bar to make any desired design changes. To change the background formatting of the letterhead, click "Background," then click a background scheme. To change the color scheme of the letterhead, click a new color scheme. To change the font, click "Fonts," then click a font from the drop-down menu. Move the cursor over the "File" menu, then click "Save."
- 9). Once satisfied with the letterhead design, click "Print" in the "File" menu. Change the number of copies, then click "Print."
- 1). Click "Download" in the right side bar of the screen. The letterhead template will open in Microsoft Publisher.
- 2). Use the "Page Design" menu to make design changes. Some online templates do not allow changes or allow only minor changes. To change the background formatting, click "Background," then click a background scheme. Click a new color scheme to change the color scheme. To change the font, click "Fonts," then click a font from the drop-down menu. Move the cursor over the "File" menu, then click "Save."
- 3). Click the "Insert" menu, click "Business Information," then click "Edit Business Information" to open the "Create New Information Set" window.
- 4). Enter business information in the "Create New Information Set" pop-up.
- 5). Click the "Add Logo" button if you wish to upload a logo. Double-click the logo to be used. Click "Save."

- 7). Move the cursor over the "File" menu, then click "Save As." Enter the name of the letterhead and click "Save."
- 8). Click "Print" in the "File" menu. Change the number of copies, then click "Print."
