How to Read Only MS Word
- 1). Right-click on the Microsoft Word file you want to switch to "Read Only" mode. Do not do this in the Microsoft Word program window . Do this in the folder where the file is located on your hard drive.
- 2). Click "Properties" from the menu that appears after you right-click the MS Word file. Check the "Read Only" box from the properties menu.
- 3). Click "Apply" to make your Microsoft Word document a "read only" document.
