Paver Stone vs. Adobe Pool Deck

104 10

    Paver Stones

    • Pool paver stones are made from a wide variety of natural stone products in addition to concrete and brick. Natural stone pavers include flagstone, travertine, slate and granite. All natural paver stones have a natural slip resistance, high degree of durability and favorable appearance. Natural stone pavers are more expensive than other kinds of pavers, and their installation is an additional cost.

    Adobe Bricks

    • Adobe brick pavers have several attractive features when it comes to fashioning a swimming pool deck. The way in which adobe bricks are created in kilns gives them a non-skid texture and a lot of durability. Adobe brick pavers for pool decks also don't show stains or dirt and require little long-term maintenance.

    Appearance

    • Abode brick pavers tend to have natural pastel earth tones, while natural stone pavers are available in a wide range of colors. For example, flagstone shades include blue, red, moss green, buff-tan and beige. Travertine pavers' color varies widely and includes cream, ivory, beige, gray and even peach and pink. It's hard to beat natural stone paver materials for a one-of-a-kind color combination in pool decking.

    Maintenance

    • Both natural stone and adobe brick pavers are low in maintenance. Adobe pavers, however, require less maintenance than natural paver stones. Natural stone pavers last a long time.
