School Teacher Pay Enough or You Want Additional Internet MLM & Network Marketing Checks?
When I started teaching Math and Science I opted for the Provident Fund Scheme (instead of a Retirement Income Scheme) as I was promised a very large lump sum at the end of my career.
But after about 15 years some realities dawned on me.
1.
The buying power of currency was eroding fast 2.
Prices of all things including real estate were fast growing 3.
My increments were not keeping up with these two negative factors.
Finally when I retired, the Provident Fund I received was just a beggars' pittance! Fortunately in my case, there were two redeeming factors 1.
We had started a part-time, home business in Jewelry and I had earned some pretty good money with this business 2.
My wife got a job for two years in an Arabian country and made some money too From my own experience I discovered that it is of utmost importance for teachers and principals to have a Plan B while we teach school.
So I counsel all from my profession to find a good one for themselves.
The school teacher job simply doesn't pay enough or is consummate with our education.
I also advocate doing internet multi level marketing, which is mainly a home business and avoid scams like a plague.
I will also help teachers about how to do this in another article, and give hints about making the needed plans.
Further, we would have done much better if we had found a good MLM company instead of the business we started for the simple reasons that 1.
More than 80% of businesses fail in the first two months, and starting a business is too much of a risk, and 2.
There is no residual income in a business, and the income stops when you stop working I find that the average salary of teachers in the US was $46,752 in 2009.
We are being underpaid, no doubt.
It is time to think about our family and kids.
SUMMER FOR TEACHERS While it is true that we teachers need vacations with our students, we find that teachers are scurrying to get temporary jobs for summer! This is taking "living" from our lives.
Here is a strong reason for us to have a real change with a business.
MLM afforded this change with residual income that will help us through the working days when we can do MLM in a different fashion and a slower pace.
The need to hunt for jobs for the next summer is eliminated.
How much do teacher job fairs help? FINDING RECRUITS AND PARTNERS Is it a joy or is it a chore to look for recruits and partners in network marketing or MLM? Consider the skills that teachers are possess.
Questions; The art of asking open ended questions to probe into the needs of people is absolutely necessary in MLM.
And teachers are trained in this area by virtue of their job.
I find this helps us in eliminating interested parties who really are not the right fit for MLM.
Presentations: The skill of preparing the setting to speak to recruits for presentations is another need for success in any home business.
Teachers are adequately trained in this area too.
Training Partners: Training those who come in as partners is a skill which has to be fine tuned.
The step by step process involved where we gently enable our partners to acquire this needed skill is another extra that trained teachers already possess.
Keeping Records: Here is another skill that all teachers have.
It is of utmost importance that every MLMer has accurate records.
Filing them and keeping them available for instant use is a natural skill for every true teacher.
Relating to people and People Skills: Here are two more needs for a successful Network Marketer.
Teachers use their people skills profusely in their everyday work as they deal with growing kids and teenagers of various types and with their parents too.
My wife and I have seen many of our students meet us months and years later to say how we deeply affected their lives while we taught even Math and English.
Teachers help shape the world only next to parents.
MLM helps prepare people to face the real world.
Here is where teachers come in with these skills and gifts.
Now answer me, teachers.
Isn't it is a joy and an adventure to look for recruits and partners in network marketing? Noble Profession: Teaching is one the most noble of professions.
Integrity, fairness and justice are standards we uphold.
In MLM, this is most important.
We want to choose the right people for our groups.
In MLM you are paid for what you produce, not for time and energy spent unnecessarily.
In some jobs you cannot be promoted as there is someone above you who is blocking you, but that is not so in MLM.
You are your own boss, you write your own check and nobody tells you what to do and when.
You promote yourself when you complete certain work.
Your sponsor simply encourages you and motivates you.
These are qualities that we teachers like.
So if a teacher willing to do honest work for himself, then there is nothing better for a teacher.
For these and other reasons.
there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that MLM is most suited for a teacher: first as a part-time business, and then perhaps later as a full-time business.
Finding a good internet multi level marketing company and avoiding scams isn't that difficult with all the help, tools and watchdog companies we have online.
