- 2). Contact the sender and have him note your bank account information, including your name as it appears on your bank statement, account number, the bank routing number, city, state and the bank's name.
- 3). Ask the sender to inquire the receiving date from his bank. Also, contact your own bank and ask them how quickly they can process the wire transfers coming from the sender's city and state. Typically, it takes about two business days for the wire transfer to reach your account.
