How to Get Great But Inexpensive Outdoor Furniture

103 10
Believe it or not, but having great outdoor furniture is not synonymous to simply buying one rocking chair for your porch.
There is this entire range of products you can choose from and at more than agreeable prices.
If you do your research right, some of the better pieces you will get will not cost you an arm or leg at all.
Here are some tips on how you can get your hands on quality furniture for your garden, backyard, porch, or even for your pool side area.
1.
First define just how much exterior space you really have.
A limited space may not be the perfect place to put in an outdoor dining set.
Try to consider foot traffic as well.
Some furniture pieces are not worth constantly stubbing your toe or banging your shins or running afoul either the door or the wall.
Once you have worked out how much space you are willing to relinquish to your brand new furniture, think about what type of outdoor décor you want.
Lounge chairs are almost mandatory with pool side areas, but you might also consider getting a coffee table set instead.
A matching pair of rocking chairs with a shared tea table might be great for your covered porch; or a double seater rocking chair, perhaps? Maybe a swing set for the kids would be great too.
A long elegant teak bench may provide a comfortable means to enjoy your garden...
without taking up a lot of space.
An oversized table might be a great way of accentuating the space and put in flowering plants as well.
Or, you might want a small dining set installed here for Sunday brunch.
2.
Now that you have a clear idea of what you want, try to focus now on your budget.
By limiting your budget, you can scope around pieces or sets that you know you can afford.
This will make your research process go faster and less painful; (try not to get heartbroken with the furniture pieces beyond your spending capability.
) 3.
Never underestimate the power of sales.
Quality but inexpensive outdoor furniture can be availed of in most sales: yard sales, fire sales, warehouse sales and even online auctions.
However, to ensure quality, make sure you make a thorough inspection of each and every piece you buy.
Small "scratches" can be painted over or covered.
Fading cushions can be replaced.
As long as the underlying structure is solid, then you can bargain your way into a deal.
