Disguising the Daily Deposit

As you walk out of the store with the deposit neatly tucked in a bank bag that has been wrapped in a store bag, do you feel like you have a giant bullseye on you? As you head to the bank to take the daily deposit, does it feel like all eyes are on you and the money? Here's a tip from an experienced retailer for disguising the deposit.

Our all-female management crew donated a few old purses and handbags for this tip. When we get ready to take the daily deposit to the bank, we place the bank bag inside one of the pocketbooks, put our wallet (with drivers license) in the purse and remove our name tag before we leave the store. This way, we look just like any other shopper when we walk out of the store. ~ Anonymous
